The Future of Traditional Pottery by Garth Clark The keynote lecture of the day exploring the role of the functional pot from its humble origins all the way through the major movements within ceramics in the twentieth century. Garth argues that the traditional pot informs everything we have come to understand about ceramics. He also raises the difficult questions about the validity of traditional pottery in the advancing digital age.
